Here they are! The Serene Pastures Herdsires!
To the right is our Casanova's Martini
Casanova's Martini is a striking grey male whose sire won Herdsire of the Year in 2003, and whos grandsire is the infamous, multi -award winner, Peruvian Bueno. These superb genetics were passed on to Martini, a grey out of two grey parents. He has the dense topknot and black chin of his sire. His fleece is dense and fine with a soft handle, and he has exceptional conformation. He is also one of our Alpaca Adventure alpacas, placing in every class he was entered in at The Big E in 2006. Watch for him in the showring in 2007! Casanova's Martini is co-owned with Alpacalypse.

Serene Pasture's Armani - With eight time blue ribbon winner, Peruvian Mulder, as his sire, and first place winner, Redrock's Evee as his dam, Armani has winner written all over him. He possesses some impressive bloodlines and has shown very well himself. His fiber is detremely dense and has the well defined fiber architecture of his sire. He has very solid bone structure and a proud presence. At his very first show, Judge Mike Safley commented that " it was a great surprise to see this quality of fleece at this end of the line" and placed him second even though he was the youngest in the class. Armani has continued to do well in the show ring and again Mike Safley commented at another show that he "would be proud to have this animal in my herd as a herdsire". Armani was only a yearling at that point. Serene Pastures' Armani is an awesome overall package with unlimited herdsire potential. He comes from very impressive lineage and would surely provide your herd with amazing genetics. We are happy to announce that Armani has settled his first female, sho is due in the summer of 2007.
